It is beautiful - is it just me, or the picture, or is it regularly variegated throughout the body, but darker on just the pointy last couple of rows?? If true, did you do it on purpose, and how? It looks great!
Kate, I ran out of yarn with about 6 rows left, and had to buy roving that kinda matched and spin my own yarn.....The roving was pretty much the same colors, just more of the dark blue...it did turn out kinda cool.
Merlin- Your Icarus is gorgeous! Kudos! I'm currently knitting Icarus. Just finished the last of Chart One (thank goodness) and have a little less than half my yarn left. Do you know at what point you were halfway? I'm a bit worried that I'll run out. My yarn is a hand-dyed & spun that I bought months ago at a herb fair - so there's no chance to get more.
