Hello there! I've finally started. I'm using Pink Frost Merino laceweight from
handpaintedyarn.com and size 4 needles. I have completed chart 1 and placed a lifeline. This is my first big lace project, so I think I'm pretty cool right now!!! Only time will tell...

Love the color! It looks like you're off to a good start.
very pretty!
size 4 needles?
Hmm, I am using the same yarn only in shocking pink and I am knitting on size 2 needles. I swear, mine is going to be small!
Thank you ladies! Kristin, I love the color of yours and I saw, on your blog, that you have tons of yarn! I have 950 yds. I'm probably going to leave out a repeat of chart 1 because it sounds like some KALers have run out. It also seems like, once it's blocked, it's huge. The very important reason for using size 4 needles is that I really wanted to start it and couldn't find my size 3 circular needle. That makes me sound really impatient, doesn't it?!?!
Impatient? Naw, completely understandable! It seems like a neat, tight knit on the 4s anyway. Great color, and may I also say: Nice stitch markers!
I agree - the entire picture is lovely...color, stitch markers, everything... And I was impatient so started on twos...I'm afraid it's going to be small, too.
Thank you for saying such nice things! I made the stitch markers too, so it's doubly nice!
