Has anyone here made a smaller shawl using 1 less repeat of Chart A? I'm thinking about it--and have to commit in just a few rows!--but would love to hear any experiences you've had. Thanks!
I did, and it turned out fine - but I was using thicker yarn than suggested, and I'm quite short, so I wanted a slightly smaller shawl anyway.
If it's the size you're worried about, try pinning it out a bit and measuring the length of one repeat. If you can do without those extra inches (twice along the top edge, once lengthwise), go for it.
