
The judges were taken by the pattern and the drape of the shawl ... so from a very hpapy knitter ..Thank you Miriam for the beautiful pattern!!
Finished and unblocked .......boy did the binding off take a lot of wool . I used about 1 and 1/2- 2/3 of the 2nd handpainted yarn skein

I enjoyed this KAL and it gave me the 'ummph' to keep going and not abandon the knitting ..so thanks to you all .
After the weekend I'll post a proper picture .

That's so pretty! Now I'm going to work extra hard on mine, so I can show it off, too! (BTW, you can win at the local show! Maybe the old dear with the 12 ply will decide to enter her zucchini this year instead!)

That's some dramatic difference. I just can't get over the way a 'blob' becomes 'lace'. Blocking is magic!
