Ok, so maybe I've let this Icarus thing get a little out of hand. In the last few days, my need to dispense with the first chart and move on to lucky number two has displaced sleep, and created a general aversion to anything that would potentially break my rhythm.
That said, I think it's starting to pay off since I'm down to about one and a half more repeats. What are your thoughts on the colour? Do you think that the slight pooling in spots will detract from the gorgeous simplicity of Miriam's design or am I just pooling paranoid?
Many stitches later,

I'm pooling paranoid, too, but I don't think it will detract from the design in this case. Of course, it's hard to tell. Things change so much when you block lace (that really wasn't very helpful, was it!).

You a have a stunning yarn there, it reminds me of tigers eye quartz. I think it will be beautiful. Hey, it's silk, it can't be wrong :)

On the other hand, you know that I'm no expert!

I think it's lovely and doesn't detract at all. I also think it's not fair that in a few days you've almost caught up to me and I've been knitting Icarus since January. =(

I'm afraid that I'm a rare bird who LIKES pooling, so I'm actually a source of anti-help, if there is such a thing.....

I think the best thing to do to see if YOU like it is to pin it out to simulate what it will look like after blocking.
