I'm on the 3rd repeat of the 1st graph now, but I took this picture early on (1st time through the graph.) The yarn is some handspun Moorit Shetland.

This is my first shawl from a chart ever.

Your Shetland is a love to look at. As for charts, I prefer them to explanations since I am a visual person and find charts much faster to read and understand. I'm a chart newbie for lace, I knitted up a lace scarf from a chart in November and fell in love with seeing the pattern. Thanks for the pdf that will certainly help.
